the edge of one more of me

I was listening to a radio show this morning on a rock and roll station in Chicago.

The DJ’s were to talking to former pro football player, Simeon Rice, who is from Chicago.

Simeon was talking about the new movie he is producing.

He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when they won the Super Bowl in 2003.

Simeon shared this morning during the radio interview that when he joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2001, he told the defensive coaches that the team was just “one more of me” away from winning the Super Bowl.

The “one more of me” for Simeon Rice was already on the team, Pro Football Hall of Fame Player, Warren Sapp.

As a pair, these two defensive players were mostly unblockable.  This pair totally changed the dynamics of the defense and made it really hard for opposing teams to score any points.

Within two years of Simeon joining the team, the Buccaneers did indeed win the Super Bowl.

What is your edge of one more of me?

Have you ever thought about what your unique qualities are?

What group or team can you join to add one more of me to make it a champion in sports, business or life?

How can one more you make an actual difference to your family or the people in your life?

Your physical presence as one more of me is far more valuable to the world than one more of you as a selfie on your phone or posted on some social media site…
