LISTEN TO THIS BLOG POST:
Summer carries a certain magic. The days stretch long and golden, the evenings hum with warmth, and nature bursts into fullness.
It’s a season that invites you to pause, breathe, and savor.
Yet, how often do you let it pass us by in a blur of plans, busyness, or distractions?
This summer, what if you chose to slow down, just enough to fully experience the joy that’s right in front of you?
Let Summer Be Your Teacher
Nature doesn’t rush. The ripening of fruit, the rhythm of waves, the stillness of heat. All of these things remind you that the presence of summer is powerful.
Summer invites you to notice, to feel and to return to the simple pleasure of being alive.
Use your five senses as anchors:
- Sight: Watch the sun filter through trees, or how people’s smiles light up at the beach.
- Sound: Listen to cicadas in the afternoon, crickets in the evening, or the splash of water at the pool.
- Smell: Take in the scent of sunscreen, fresh-cut grass, or a barbecue.
- Taste: Let your tongue linger on something cold and sweet, ice cream, watermelon, mint tea.
- Touch: Feel warm sand, cool lake or ocean water, or the hug of a friend you haven’t seen in months.
Each physical sensation is a doorway to the present moment, and the present moment is where real joy lives.
Let Intuition Lead Your Summer
Summer, is the perfect environment to reconnect with your first sense, your intuition.
Intuition is defined as “an inner sensing, inner insight to unconscious recognition of energetic patterns and the ability to understand something instinctively, without the need for conscious reasoning.”
Your Intuition emanates from the energy of a Higher Power and provides you with Divine guidance and Divine intelligence.
Your intuition is your inner guidance system, that operates on a vibration of truth and love and helps you stay authentic and in integrity with your soul plan.
Your intuition operates outside your ego. Your ego is defined as “your conscious mind, the part of your identity that you consider your ‘self.’ ”
Your ego provides feelings of confusion and ambiguity. In contrast, your intuition always provides feelings of clarity and distinctness.
To tap into your intuition:
- Sit outside in the summer sun. Use the energy of the summer sun.
- Close your eyes.
- Sit quietly and breath slowly.
- Anchor yourself in the present moment.
- Ask, this question “What guidance does my intuition have for me?”
- Listen carefully for a response.
- Your Intuition will provide you with inspired, positive, specific and direct information you can use to create forward movement in your life.
Your Summer Invitation
This week, don’t just do summer—live it.
Let your intuition, your first sense lead. Let your other five senses follow.
- Say yes to spontaneous joy. Especially when it makes no logical sense.
- Leave your phone behind for an hour. Let the world unfold unfiltered without distraction.
- Watch a summer sunset without trying to capture it on your phone. Some beauty is meant to be felt, not saved.
- Rest outside without guilt. Your deserve a few moments of personal stillness every day.
Let summer be the season you return to what feels real.
To what’s already within you.
To the soft rhythm of now.
Embracing the summer season will allow you to create a positive impact in your life.
